Tuesday, October 21st, 2008

Thanks for creating this guide goes to Computer(noob), good job!

I have seen alot of good morphling guides on dotaportal portal and IMO they are all very good.
this guide is actually inspired by the guides and guides writer. So if my guide is somehow similar to your guides, i am sorry
this is also my first time Posting a guide so therefore if I done something wrong, please forgive me.

1. Introduction
2. Pros/Cons
3. Skill/Item build
4. Strategy
5. Best allies
6. Worst enemy
7. Conclusion
8. Replays

So let’s skip the boring parts and head to the introduction, shall we?

Morphling – The Morphling

HP Regen: 0.82 | Mana Regen: 0.69

The Morphling dissolves into his components and surges forward, dealing damage to everything in his wake.
Level 1 – 100 damage.
Level 2 – 175 damage.
Level 3 – 250 damage.
Level 4 – 325 damage.
Mana Cost: 140/155/160/165
Cooldown: 10
Your main skill. This skill is really something, Nuke+blink+aoe all wrap into this cool skill.use it, love it.

Adaptiv[e] Strike
Blasts a target with magical energy, dealing damage or disabling the target based on the Morphling’s dominant attribute between Agility and Strength.
Level 1 – 30 + 1.4x Agility in damage or stuns the target 1.4 seconds and knocks back slightly.
Level 2 – 60 + 1.8x Agility in damage or stuns the target 1.8 seconds and knocks back slightly.

Mana Cost: 100
Cooldown: 20
Adaptive strike, i am sad to say that you won’t be able to use the stun as my build focus all on agi. But the good thing is after you max it, you will see 400~500 dmg.

The Morphling edits his physical being to fit the circumstances. He can, at will, lose some strength and gain agility, or vice versa. The process is reversable.
Level 1 – 2 points per second.
Level 2 – 4 points per second.
Level 3 – 6 points per second.
Level 4 – 8 points per second.
Mana Cost: 20
Cooldown: N/A
Another skill which makes morphling so very unique. Morph his str into agi or agi back into str. This skill will be needed for you to play this build.

The Morphling has the unique ability to replicate any target friendly, enemy hero, or his own images. Although it only deals 50% damage, the hero can morph into his replication, instantly taking its position.
Level 1 – Lasts 30 seconds.
Level 2 – Lasts 45 seconds.
Level 3 – Lasts 60 seconds.
Mana Cost: 200
Cooldown: 120
Replicate, from the name you can tell it allow you to clone a hero, friend or foe.The good thing about this skill is that the replicate last for 1 mins and the clone will have passive of the hero clone. However we won’t eally be needing this.

SteelSeries Gaming Mouse for World of Warcraft

Computer gaming peripherals maker SteelSeries has introduced two new World of Warcraft-edition products, the MMO Gaming Mouse and Zboard Limited Edition (Wrath of the Lich King, or WotLK) keyboard. The mouse can seemingly act as a keyboard replacement during gameplay, as it features 15 buttons that can be assigned to various shortcut operations in the game and reprogrammed again for everyday computing use. SteelSeries worked with World of Warcraft creators Blizzard Entertainment on both products, which are officially licensed. The mouse lights up in what SteelSeries claims is a choice of 16 million colors selectable by the user, and there are three intensity and pulsation level settings.

The mouse is able to macro up to 160 characters, and there are more than 130 predefined commands for drag-and-drop macro creation.

The SteelSeries Zboard Limited Edition (WotLK) keyboard includes a removable keyset, in this case specially designed for WoW, with graphics to match in addition to a standard keypad. The keyboard allows for seven simultaneous keystrokes for anti-ghosting, and has one-touch macros for raiding and PvP gameplay. The keyboard connects to computers and acts as a USB extender via an internal hub with two USB ports. Via the SteelSeries Z Engine software, users can program each key as they see fit.

Both products are available to pre-order from Steel Series webstore now, with shipping dates set for November 13. The mouse is priced at nearly $90, while the keyboard is priced at about $65.

Dota Allstars 6.56 AI Watch

Tuesday, October 21st, 2008

This post is place for news abot DotA Allstars 6.56 Ai version. BuffMePlz is working hard to create new Ai DotA version but there was so many changes in 6.55/6.56 versions that it will take some time to implement them all.

Download DotA Allstars 6.56 AI Plus Revision 01

BuffMePlz says:
“The time it takes for me to finish a port is proportional to the magnitude of the changes made per version. Yeah, 6.54 came out quickly because the changes between it and 6.53 were minimal, and 6.53 came out only shortly after the official map because 6.52 took me so long that by the time I finished it, 6.53 was out already (and the changes between 6.52 and 6.53 were also minimal).

6.55 is more like 6.52, so a gap of time between when 6.51 and 6.53 ports is probably roughly indicative of how long this will take.

Also, I’ve been meaning to do a complete framework reconstruction on the map to improve compatibility and stability, and now that several systems have been rewritten (including the bloody game clock), now seems as good a time as any to do that. I started it yesterday, but it means this will take even longer…but hopefully the end result should be more stable than what we’ve got now.

On the upside I did finish updating the terrain and regions. =) AI can move normally around the new field now.”
